The project focused on enhancing the maintenance and depot facilities near Exeter St David’s Station to support the introduction of new rolling stock and cater to the growing number of passengers:
The developments included a new carriage wash, three road maintenance sheds, staff accommodation, and a fluid farm on a brownfield site adjacent to the existing depot.
Kipling Build was appointed by Hochtief under an NEC3 Option A contract to complete the fit-out of the new staff accommodation and office facilities. Our scope of work included the following key packages:
